Royal Challengers Bangalore has officially changed their name to ‘Royal Challengers Bengaluru’ ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

Royal Challengers Bangalore has officially changed their identity to ‘Royal Challengers Bengaluru’ ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. At the RCB Unpack event at the M Chinnaswamy Arena in Bengaluru, the organization’s new name and logo were revealed. Captain Faf Du Plessis, star player Virat Kohli, and ladies’ group chief Smriti Mandhana were present on stage when the announcement was made. Mandhana led RCB to the Women’s Head Association (WPL) 2024 title after defeating the Delhi Capitals in the highest-point conflict—the first reward in the organization’s history.

“The city we love, the heritage we embrace, and now it’s time for our…PRESENTING TO YOU, ROYAL CHALLENGERS BENGALURU, RCB!” the franchise wrote on X (previously Twitter).

Earlier. The RCB men’s team presented a guard of honour to the WPL 2024 champions, led by Smriti Mandhana. The RCB men’s squad, which included Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, Reece Topley, Mohammed Siraj, Cameron Green, Glenn Maxwell, Dinesh Karthik, and Karn Sharma, formed a guard of honour for the women.

Smriti walked among the other players, holding the trophy, as the men’s team stars celebrated the WPL 2024 victors. The RCB women’s team ran a victory lap around the M Chinnaswamy Stadium as spectators cheered on the title-winning team.

During the victory lap, Smriti was on video call with great all-rounder Ellyse Perry.

At the completion of the victory lap, the team posed with the trophy. On Sunday, RCB won the WPL trophy after an all-around performance in all aspects of the game.

Sophie Molineux and Shreyanka Patil’s twist turned the Delhi Capitals players and limited them to a total of 113. In answer, RCB easily pursued the objective and stood successful.

RCB’s men’s group will hope to imitate the accomplishment with a crew that is a blend of ability, youth, and experience. Kohli will make his on-field return in the wake of missing the two T20I matches of the three-match series against Afghanistan in January and the five-match Test series against Britain.
