The unseeded 95th-positioned Indian enrolled in a 6-2, 6-3 win over eighth-cultivated Cobolli. Nagal will currently be facing the champs of the two Argentines—Facundo Díaz Acosta and Diego Schwartzman—in his last qualifier apparatus.

While Acosta is positioned 55th and cultivated third, Schwartzman is positioned 124th and is a special case contestant in the competition.

Seven qualifiers will be allowed to enter the primary round.

Nagal has been in the titles since coming to the principal draw of the Australian Open in January, where he beat Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan prior to bowing out in the subsequent round.
