Harshit Rana of KKR “teases” BCCI with a celebration after making a wicket vs. LSG.

KKR pacer Harshit Rana’s festival subsequent to taking a wicket in the match against LSG caught fans’ eye.

“Mr. Harshit Rana, bowler, Kolkata Knight Riders, has been fined 100% of his match expenses and suspended for one counterpart for breaking the IPL governing set of principles during Match 47 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 against Delhi Capitals at the Eden Nurseries, Kolkata, on April 29, 2024,” the BCCI had said in a delivery.

The KKR pacer was seen as at legitimate fault for committing a Level 1 offense under Article 2.5 of the IPL’s implicit set of rules. Rana owned up to the offense and acknowledged her assent.

“Rana committed a Level 1 offense under Article 2.5 of the IPL’s set of principles. He confessed to the offense and acknowledged the match official’s approval. For Level 1 breaks of the general set of principles, the match ref’s choice is conclusive and restricting,” the assertion further read.

“The player was previously punished under a similar level and article of the IPL Set of Rules,” it added.

It isn’t yet known if the BCCI could disapprove of Harshit Rana’s festival against the Super Monsters and give him another punishment.
